” We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.”
Reading this, I’m thinking: no wonder the guy was a genius! I mean if we all thought like this when faced with a problem, I’m sure a lot would be different. But its unfortunate that it’s not always like that; a person would lie and get in trouble instead of coming clean and tell the truth, they’d still add more lies and thus getting into more trouble than before. I think the reason i suck at math is because I have failed to do just that, change my thinking with every problem encountered. And this applies everywhere not just in maths.
We can’t keep doing the same thing and expect a different outcome, its just not possible. So whenever you encounter a difficult situation, take a step back to see how and why it came about because only that will help you to make the right decision.
Check out this one too also from Albert Einstein: ” It’s not that I’m so smart, it’s just that I stay with problems longer.” I’d say that happened to him because he always searched for new ways, change his thinking and such, as he tried that, he’d have a eureka moment, discoveries, that’s why we’re still talking about him even today.
So, Let’s change our thinking, discover new better ways to handle daily issues and who know maybe it is that that will taken one at the center of the world.
If we translate it in today’s language, I believe it would be:” Think outside the box.”
What’s ur take on this?
